We continue informing you from FOCUS LEGAL about the rules applicable in those COVID19 days and the consequences of it.

In this regard, please be informed about the following communication from the General Treasury of the Social Security in regard to the refund of the quotas of self-employed workers who received approval of the supplementary allowance due to cessation of activity:

  1. The quotas corresponding to the days between March 14 and 31, for self-employed workers who are beneficiaries of the supplementary allowance mentioned above, will be returned in the second half of May.

  1. The quotas for the month of April that could be charged to the self-employed workers because the allowance was recognized by the mutual insurance associations after the GTSS had sent the information to the financial entities for the account charge, will be returned automatically in the month of June.

  1. The refund of these quotas will be made ex officio and, therefore, it is not necessary to submit any request.

  1. The amount will be transferred to the bank account where the charge was made.
