  • Employed workers registered with Social Security

  • Self-employed workers registered with Social Security

  • Those who, without having legal residence, are holders of the Andalusian Health Card

To obtain it, they need to bring the following documents to the health centre closest to their place of residence:

  • Valid passport, original and copy.
  • Certificate of registration at the Town Hall (“empadronamiento”), this must be dated three months in advance of the application.
  • In the case of minors without a passport or official identity document: birth certificate or family book.

  • Pensioners to be included as beneficiaries in the Spanish public system, need to present the following documents at the National Social Security Institute (INSS):

  • Model S1 (document of  the social security of their country of nationality)
  • Residence card in Spain.
